We researched published specifications and explain our selection criteria below. We have not personally tested these products. Product photos, price, availability and current instructions are on the retailer or manufacturer pages. No product photos are reproduced here.
The short verdict
This exact listing is the White/Gray pack containing two grippers and four strips. At the research check, Amazon showed buying options rather than a featured offer; no current stock, seller or price is promised. The small wall piece does not describe the full space needed for the broom head and handle.
- Good match
- A compatible handled broom or mop, suitable wall surface and permitted adhesive mounting location.
- Choose another approach when
- The handle or weight is outside the stated range, the surface is unsuitable or attachment is not allowed.
- Published dimensions
- For a broom or mop up to 4 lb with handle diameter 0.8–1 inch. Manufacturer 17007-family dimensions are approximately 3.12 inches W × 1.85 inches D × 3.34 inches H per gripper.
- Exact model
- 17007-HW2ES; listing part 17007-HW2ESFH; Amazon ASIN B01G1Y42H0
How to check the fit
- Measure the handle at the point the gripper will hold it. The supported diameter is 0.8–1 inch; a nearby grip sleeve or an irregular shape may differ from the straight shaft.
- Confirm the tool weighs no more than 4 lb. Do not treat two grippers as permission to double that limit or hold an unrelated heavy object.
- Check the exact surface and current strip guidance, including any exclusions. Confirm that the household or housing rules permit adhesive mounting.
- Reserve space for the entire broom or mop and its release movement, not just the approximately 3.12-by-1.85-inch gripper footprint. Keep the intended storage position clear of door swings and access routes.
What this changes—and what it does not
A gripper can move a suitable tool out of a corner, but it commits the tool to a specific mounting location and depends on proper surface preparation. It does not replace a compatible floor holder when attachment is unsuitable.
Use an existing designated cleaning-tool corner or freestanding holder if the surface, handle or permission check fails. A different hook intended for another object should not be assumed to have the same grip or weight rating.
Care and limits
Avoid wallpaper, brick, rough concrete and heavily textured walls. Command's guidance requires newly painted surfaces to cure for at least seven days; follow the current product and strip directions for preparation, application and waiting time. The checked listing specifies indoor use at 50–105°F and at least one foot from a sink or water source, so do not treat this as wet-area storage. Adhesive strips are single-use; repositioning needs compatible replacements. Use the instructed stretch-release removal, not a pull away from the wall. Never assume universal damage-free results on every finish.
A small-space gift check
Ask whether the recipient wants to mount a gripper and has a compatible tool and surface. Without those details, it is a poor surprise storage gift even though the package itself is small.
